Hello everyone, Kitty here with some exciting news! Alongside the other story I’m writing, I have two new story ideas. They’re the same story, yet they’re very different. One is called April Fool and the other doesn’t quite have a title yet. April Fool, despite it’s name, is actually really dark. It’s a tale of insanity, and the consequences that come with regretted (or not regretted) actions. This story is definitley not for the faint of heart or people who are very sensitive. However the other story is a very lighthearted, heart-warming tale of making others happy. The other one is appropriate for everybody, except for those without hearts. (And who doesn’t have a heart?!).  I think I’ll stop posting for today, seeing that I’m not feeling well.

I stepped into the darkened classroom, seeing the group of four people sitting at the two desks which had been pushed together. The young girl in the center of the group stood up and approached me. “Hello. My name is Ellen. I want you to tell me your name and date of birth.” “…Why?”, I asked, a feeling of confusion filling my head. “I’ll explain it once you tell me the required information.” I nodded. “Well, my name is Taka and I was born on April the first.” A smirk came onto Ellen’s pale face. “You must’ve come here because you must be an April Fool, too.” Her melon pink hair was tied into two pigtails, and her dark pink eyes that were almost a reddish color stared back into my rather dull dark blue eyes. “Uhm, what’s an April Fool, if you don’t mind me asking?” Another one of the members stood up. His skin wasn’t terribly pale like Ellen’s, and I’d say he was fair skinned. He was around five foot six, I believe. His hair looked messy and was a dark blonde color. “An April Fool is somebody who was born on the first of April, and has a goal in life. Just one goal, though, that means a lot to the other April Fools, which are us.” “Which is?” The confused feeling wouldn’t leave me, and I felt like I was in some strange dream, or something like that. Just then, Ellen whispered in my ear one word. “Scare.” She pulled away and sat back down in her seat. “Wait wait, then the goal of an April Fool is to scare people?” Not like it was a problem for me; people do find me to be a jerk anyway, so this isn’t as outlandish as it seems. Everyone at the table nodded in unison. “So”, Ellen began, “will you join our club or not?” “Hmm…well, it’s not like I have anything better to do so why not.” From that day on, my life changed, and not in the best way…

Hey, Kitty here. I’ve been gone for a really long time, I apologize. I’ve not felt the desire to blog, but it’s come back to me and boy am I more ready than ever! I have a lot to update about, so please bear with me. I’ll catagorize the announcements so it’s more organized.  Things visual novel related will be under the sub-heading “visual novels”, written in pink; anything story related will be in light blue. So let’s get started, shall we?

Visual Novels

• The visual novel project “Empowering Youth” is on hiatus for now. The story is rather simple, but the bond system is really hard to do, so until I can figure it out, this project will be on hold until further notice.
• “Paws of Loyalty” has began to make progress, and almost all of the scripts for the heroine paths are done, save for the Bella ending. So once it’s done, the game shall begin to get done in Novelty. I’ll keep you posted when more progress is made.
• A new visual novel project, called “Smile Smile”, is in the works! The script for the prologue is done (yay, progress and dedication!), but there’s still more to be finished. A seperate post explaining the story and such will be posted at a later date. 

Alright, now that all of that’s cleared up, let’s move on to some story related things.

Stories

• The story “Lunatic Night” has been dropped. I dropped it for a reason though; it was a really emotionally draining story, plus horror just isn’t my genre. It was emotionally draining because I’d wrote lots of things about characters being in distress, which added to some feelings of uneasiness and fatigue in me.  I’ve also discovered that horror isn’t really my genre of writing. I am working on another project that is somewhat horror (see bullet point three), but the characters aren’t always frightened or in distress. It’s less draining, and funner to write. Plus, “Lunatic Night” had a silly premise to begin with.  It’s best that I dropped it.
• “Love x Goddess” is on hiatus. Due to some real life stuff going on, I’ve not been able to get around to it as of late. But I’ll get around to it eventually. I’ll keep you all updated when something happens with it.
• A re-write of an old story I did, titled “Rose”, is in the works. The story will be explained in a different post, however. Basically, the re-write is the same as the original story except some changes have been made: 1) The blood and gore has been toned down greatly. The gore is in the story only when necessary, and is very scarce along with the blood; 2) There’s also some things that I’ve chaged to make the story better, like relying more on drama and some comedy to move the story along, but adding horror in in small amounts. This way, “Rose” won’t be too scary, but won’t be too boring either. (No, I’m not doing these edits to be a pansy or anything, but to make the story more interesting and enjoyable. The original had forced horror and everything. It just wasn’t enjoyable.)

Well, that’s really all to update about. Hopefully this wasn’t a miserable read, but it should help you understand why I’ve been so…absent in a year’s time. Yes, I am still woking on projects from  two years ago, in case you’re curious.

Hi, Kitty here! I’m working on a new story, and boy is it great! I’ll give you the basics of it.

Story Title: Love x Goddess ~Love is Mayhem and Mayhem is Love~
Age Rating: 13+
Storyline: Love x Goddess is about a 17 year old girl named Ryoko,who every night, wishes on a star. Each night, the wish is different. Well one night, she wishes for love. “Please let me have love!” However, when he wishes, she doesn’t get love,but a young looking girl. Her name is Ai (Love, in Japanese), and she is here to help Ryoko with her love problems. After all, it is the Love Goddess’s duties!
Ai can only stay on Earth for 2 weeks. Will Ryoko be able to handle Ai?

That’s the basics so far. It’s still being wrote and is taking long. That, my friends, is the creating process! Haha! That’s it for now! Bye bye!

Summer Romance

Pitter patter. Pitter patter.

I looked out the window. It was raining,as usual. Sighing,I lie down on my bed.
Closing my eyes,I fell asleep. Well,almost. On the foot of my bed lie a familiar figure.
“Hey,don’t you go to sleep,Mayu!”, said a voice I could reconize anywhere.
“Ah,hiya,Miyu. What’re you doing in here?”,I asked sleepily. She sat next to me.
She stayed silent. She then looked out the window. “How can you call this summer?! It
rains like crazy.”, Miyu said,a little frustrated. “Well,it is. I don’t know why it rains so much though.”
After the rain stopped, I stepped outside. “Uwah~! It’s so nice out!”,Miyu said,getting as excited as a young child
in a candy store. I giggled,watching her twirl around in the sunlight. Her long,caramel colored hair moved gracefully with her.
Her big shiny blue eyes seemed to shimmer in the light. “Right now”, I thought to myself,”Miyu looks so happy. It’s kinda cute.”
Miyu came running up to me,her hands holding mine. Miyu giggled softly. “What is it,Miyu?”,I asked. She began to twirl, with me this time.
We twirled for a few minutes. “Hey,Mayu,I think we should rest.”,I said. “Okay~!”
With no words,we both walked to a large tree. We sat under it. Miyu looked at me,her eyes almost sparkling.
I began to realize that there were thoughts running in  my mind. “Do I like Miyu? I can feel my face warming up around her. Is it love..?”
I shook the thoughts from my mind. Miyu looked at me. “Mayu,come back to Earth now! You’ve been staring at the sky for a while now!!!”, Miyu said childishly.
“I wanna go inside now.”,I said. Miyu pondered for a minute before asking,”Why?” I had to think of a good reason. “The heat’s getting to me,that’s all.”
“Well,okay.”,Miyu said as we walked into my room.  Once I was alone,I sat on my bed,thinking to myself.  Remembering back to my childhood…
It was a day much like this one,gray and rainy.  I was outside,standing in the rain. I was crying. My parents were arguing. I hated that so much. I ran to the park. I sat on a bench,
continuing to cry.  “You can’t stay out here,y’know. It’s raining! Are you okay…?”,asked a small little voice. I looked up,and to my surprise,there was another little girl.  “Come with me,
I’ll make you feel better!”,said the little girl happily. I followed her. We stopped once we had reached her house. It looked much better than mine. It was definately larger.
I sat straight up upon hearing her cheerful voice. “Miyu,it’s festival day,remember?~”,she asked, rather bubbly. I nodded. We put our kimonos on and headed to the
festival grounds. We first played a game that involed throwing a bean-bag at a target.,which of course, we both lost. After eating some cotton candy,the fireworks show
had started. Miyu grabbed my hand and ran to the tree that we had rested at before. Miyu turned to face me. “Mayu….there’s something I want to tell you…”, she began.
Could it be…? “What is it?”, I asked. Miyu’s face had glowed light pink.  “Well, um, you see….It’s just that I…”, Miyu stuttered. She hugged me closely to her. Stroking my hair, she then whispered
to me, “…I love you….”. I was speechless. As a reponse, I had whispered it back to her. The fireworks had ended,so we headed back home.  I fell asleep.  While sleeping, it was as if I could feel what the future
had in store for me. Miyu,too. I dreamt that we stayed together without arguing. However…it’s only a dream, and besides, it’s not like we always get along.
Like today, we couldn’t agree on where we should have our next date. Go figure that Miyu won.  Miyu wins an argument 9 times out of 10.
That 1% not won is rare,however.  Our next date will be at the movies. I think it sounds cliche’, but as long as she’s happy, I guess I’m okay with it. I know for sure that
we will be with each other for a long time. Even if things don’t work out,we’ll still  be friends. I just want Miyu in my life. No matter what…

Hey fellow readers. Kitty here. You may be wondering “Why have you been inactive  for so long?” The answer is is that I’ve been busy with storywriting and personal issues. I’ve returned,and will update regularly. So now it’s time for the update. Well, I am gona post my first story ever! It’s actually a series following the lives of 2 (In one  case,3) girls who have romantic feelings for each other. They go in the order of the seasons (Winter,Spring,Summer and Fall).  However,they will be uploaded out of order. Summer Romance will be uploaded first,then Winter Romance. After those two are uploaded, I will begin to write Autumn Romance,and finish with Spring Romance. That’s all for now!
